Three generations of winemakers
Our story began when our grandparents Eugenio and Slavica after World War II moved to the small village of Gardisciutta, on the hills surrounding Gorizia. Here they started to cultivate vines, fruit trees and vegetables.
Eugenio and Slavica quickly transmitted the passion for cultivating the land to our dad Claudio and our uncle Francesco, which in 1980 started to focus exclusively on the cultivation of vines. In 1990 the construction of the new cellar began and in 1994 the first bottling took place.
Nowadays, our 12 hectares of vineyards climb on the hills surrounding our cellar, just a few meters away from the border with Slovenia, up to over 200 meters above sea level, only surrounded by acacia and chestnut woods.
Today the story continues with us, Sara and Elisa.
